Welcome to the Carstensen Farms website. I'm Sally Carstensen aka Sally Strawberry. Together with my husband Neal, we are very busy farmers! We have 500 organic blueberry bushes, cultivate 450 acres of organic oat and rye hay, tend 140 free range layer hens, distribute strawberry plants every September to home gardners, teach strawberry growing classes, manage an email "Growing Strawberries with Sally" membership, recently retired from commercial strawberry production AND our daughter raises home bred registered Jersey milk cows.
